  We booked this as part of an experience gift we received. Upon arrival parking was available at a reasonable price the staff were welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the room really let the side down, it was small and dated with a view of the back of Debenhams (not what the pictures in the brochure lead you to believe) the bathroom could have done with a little work. It was a hot evening and the room was very hot, the air condition was a bit noisy so we opted to open the window and turn off the air con, this proved to be a mistake. The road we were overlooking was extremely noisy, I had a night of broken sleep from being woken up by bin lorries, delivery lorries, street cleaner lorries and cars with noisy exhausts. Breakfast was included and was exceptional, a really good choice and great quality.

  Lovely stay however hotel let's it's self down slightly. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and helpful. However couple of simple touches could have improved it and been a truly 4 star stay. In the room one light switch missing it's button and an electrical socket slightly loose. Also the car park is tiny and would highly recommend you are comfortable parking in small spaces before attempting it. However a pleasant stay, beautiful location and wonderful view of the cathedral.
