  Stayed here recently on an overnight visit to Winchester, the facilities and room cleanness were five star and the overhead rain shower and complimentary toiletries were devine. Breakfast also one of the best.. Only thing letting it slip to four stars was unfortunately a little bit of outside noise during the night x

  Great place to stay but very noisy!
  
  My wife and I stayed here one Saturday night in Room 6 (what they call a 'Comfortable Room').
  
  Very warm welcome, friendly staff, pleasantly surprised by the size of the room.
  
  Good shower (although water was not hot at 10am on Sunday) and all-round very nice boutique/chic place to stay.
  
  Beware that if you want an early night you can forget it. Bar gets very noisy and Room 6 was right above the Disabled loo with well-oiled punters banging, crashing and shouting until 1am! Now i know why there's ear plugs supplied on each bedside table!
  
  Would recommended.

  Excellent Sunday dinner
  Was working in Winchester for a couple of days and went here for food. It wasn't imposing so a big place to eat even on my own.
  Had the roast beef which was great and had a good variety of veg.
  Decent bar too. Didn't go much further than the vodka menu. Didn't need to.
