- 1 / 5By Clare TildenLovely pub with lovely dining room however food was such a let down! My husband ordered hot smoked salmon and it arrived looking like a tin had been upended on a plate of salad. I ordered the chicken kebab..chicken was tasteless and dubiously grey..our mains followed of lambshank which looked like it had been microwaved within an inch of its life with a fatty top..gravy and mash was unremarkable and peas which weren't in the gravy were dried out on top...my husband ordered the salmon which was ordinary. The cheese board was good, the pannacotta nice but coulis on top very runny... could've been a lovely evening but food was a let down.March 31, 2017
